WELDING
Metal welding laser machine |
|
 |
 |
|
|
| |
Applications:
- Spot welding of small canister tubes on cables with a pulsed Nd:YAG laser.
- One laser unit for three separated welding stations.
- A cable measuring device of high precision, 50µ on 3000 mm.
- The canister has to be closed with a perfect circular weld, no leakage accepted.
- The cable has to be welded to an in length calibrated second cable.
| |
|
Solutions:
- Three fibre delivery in time sharing.
- Three separate welding heads with adapted optics.
- Viewing cameras on each welding station for visual control, easy positioning and focussing .
- Each welding station has an X-Y-Z and double rotation
axis in order to weld cable to cable and canister
to cable.
- A double linked rotation axis in order to turn both
cables simultaneously during the welding.
- A cable length measuring unit with high precision linear measuring scale.
Features:
- Pulsed Nd:YAG system for welding pellets on cables.
- Laser pulse control for even welding results.
- Fibre beam transport: 200µ and 400µ.
- Pulse durations programmable from 0.1 to 20 ms.
- Shot frequency: 1 to 1000 Hz.
- Energy selectable from 20 to 50 J/pulse.
- Three welding units with one laser and one programming computer.
Benefits:
- Easy control of the process, all stations are equipped with cameras in order to control the welding during operations.
- The commanding computer will switch from one station to another and control the whole process.
- A fourth station was built for the precise measurement
of the length of the cable with the canister after
the welding (precision of +/- 10µ on 3000 mm)
and cut it at a precise length.
